Host-IT answers SOS from Managed IT Services Provider
ONEMS is a Managed IT Services company with offices in the UK, Europe, USA, Singapore and Australia. Established in 2019, it now employs over 60 staff across these locations providing a wide range of managed services including IT, Cyber, Cloud and Unified Communications.
The Challenge
In Mid-July ONEMS was presented with a major problem. One of its long-standing clients was informed at short notice that their IT infrastructure - hosted at another premise - had to be moved in just a matter of days!
The Solution
On the Wednesday afternoon, ONEMS put a call into Host-IT requesting information on colocation services available at its newly opened data centre in Birmingham. Andrew Willis, Managing Director of Host-IT responded immediately so that contracts could be exchanged just 36 hours later.
The following Monday ONEMS delivered their client's IT equipment to the Host-IT data centre in Birmingham where it was installed and connected. Host-IT's secure ISO 27001, Tier 3 facility is strategically located in central Birmingham, close to the major fibre networks traversing the UK and various regional fibre providers. There is currently 6MW of IT power available to site with the potential to increase this to 12MW.
