Host-IT today announced its latest data centre which is based in close proximity to Leeds and strategically located to West Yorkshire and the M62/M1 motorways.
The facility features 7,000 sq ft of net technical area along with top-tier power, cooling and security. In addition to full power backup of UPS, batteries and generators there are two diverse fibre routes into the site which also provides 24 x 7 access and on-site support.
With the opening of its Leeds facility Host-IT now has a network of five UK regional edge data centres which also includes sites in Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Bristol and Nottingham. The high quality tier 3 data centres offer excellent high speed low latency colocation and hosting services for local and regional businesses, including the rapidly growing technology sectors in each of these areas.
